Promoting art education, inspiring creative expression and building community.
Practical, technical, conceptual and critical thinking skills are the building blocks of a solid education. Art education encompasses them all.
Access to art education should be available to everyone. We award scholarships to increase the diversity of participants at Sanctuary Arts art school and sculpture center in Eliot, Maine. Community driven and funded.
Helping our community grow stronger, together. One class at a time.
Our team is committed to creating an environment on the seacoast where art education is not limited to those with financial security. We believe that art education is just as important to a vibrant community as safe sidewalks, and we want to make it easier for all to access.
Ready to take the next step?
Whether you’re most comfortable contributing time to help achieve our advocacy goals, money to help us grow, or energy to write grants and reach out to large donors, we need all of you to help build this reality.
“Sanctuary Arts Connects is just what our art community is in need of right now. An avenue for folks to access education without the weight of financial burden.”
— Lauren Dow
